Description
so far best would be:
short-time monitoring via MySQL
for long time monitoring using RRD databases which will be periodically updated
with short-time monitoring data.

New idea
Assign UUIDs to Chains, Pipes, Interfaces, ...
When generating the ruleset, link UUID to the calculated tc index.
Graphs can then be created and can be linked to the right Chain, Pipes, Interface, ...
